Refund Policy
The short version: try it free for 120 minutes first — about a full day of dictation. If you've bought it and it's still not for you, email us within 3 days of purchase and we'll refund it in full.
1. 3-day money-back guarantee
Ascolta is a one-time €15 lifetime purchase. If you're not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 3 days of the date of purchase. We keep this window short because you can fully evaluate the app first with the free 120-minute trial — roughly a full day of dictation — before you ever pay.
2. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address you used to buy, and include your license key or the Paddle order/receipt number from your purchase confirmation email. We'll confirm and process the refund. Because Paddle is our merchant of record, you may also request the refund directly through the link in your Paddle receipt — Paddle issues the actual refund to your original payment method.
3. When the refund is processed
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Paddle, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. You'll receive an email confirmation from Paddle when it's done.
4. What happens to your license
A refunded purchase deactivates the associated license: the app returns to its unlicensed state and any devices activated under that license are released. Your local data — audio, transcripts, history — stays on your Mac and is never touched by a refund.
5. After the 3-day window
Beyond 3 days we generally don't offer refunds, since the lifetime license is yours to keep and the app keeps working indefinitely. If something goes genuinely wrong — the app doesn't work for you and we can't fix it — email us anyway. A human will look at it, and we'd rather make it right than leave you with software you can't use.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have as a consumer under applicable law, including, in the EU, your right of withdrawal for digital purchases. Where those rights give you more than this policy, the law wins. Paddle, as merchant of record, administers consumer-law refunds where they apply.
7. Chargebacks
If something's wrong, please contact us or Paddle first — a refund is faster than a chargeback and we're happy to help. Disputes filed without contacting us may result in the associated license being deactivated.
